Consider Easter Dinner Delivery, So You Can Celebrate Safely at Home
Even though this Easter may look – and feel — different than year's past, it's still a special occasion worth celebrating. If you're trying to limit your trips to the grocery store or simply don't have enough time in the day to track down a ham for your family, consider one of the Easter dinner delivery options for a stress-free holiday. No matter the size of your party this year, these to-go options will make everyone at your table happy, thanks to a wide-range of sides, mains, and desserts. While most of these holiday-appropriate picks stay true to the classics — spiral ham, mashed potatoes, and greens — restaurants like Carrabba's Italian Grill and Bonefish Grill offer unconventional meal bundles for party guests who'd rather indulge in pasta, fish, or a combination of the two.
Since Easter will be here before you know it, take care of your dinner order ASAP. Schedule a delivery for Easter Sunday or pick it up at your local restaurant before the holiday rush. And really, it's a win for everyone: Since you'll spend less time in the kitchen, there will be more time to focus on making new memories with your loved ones near and far.
Of course, we would encourage you to shop small, local businesses/restaurants whenever possible. But with many local businesses having modified hours due to the Coronavirus crisis, this may not be an option on short notice. So here are some alternatives.
Harry & David: Even though you're spending more time at home, this Easter seems more chaotic than most. Order a pre-cooked ham from Harry & David and it'll arrive at your door in just two days to ensure freshness. Heat upon arrival and pair with your go-to holiday sides like green beans and mashed potatoes.
Cracker Barrel: If your family is on the bigger side, opt for Cracker Barrel's Heat n’ Serve Family Meal To-Go, which comfortably serves 10. Get the chilled meal at your nearest Cracker Barrel location between now and Easter Sunday, and heat up each dish before serving. The meal comes to roughly $12 a person, and has all the Easter fixins': Spiral Sliced Sugar Cured Ham, Hashbrown Casserole, Sweet Yeast Rolls, 2 Buttermilk Pies, and the choice of 3 country sides.
The Honey Baked Ham Company: Take the traditional route this Easter by serving a meal made by The Honey Baked Ham Company. Order a ham — bone-in half, bone-in whole, bone-in quarter, or boneless — and your family's favorite sides and pick it up at your nearest store or have it delivered straight to your door, if available. All delivery orders must be placed by April 8 to ensure Easter delivery. But if you're looking to save money, head to the store to pick up your feast.
Boston Market: Although you missed your chance to get one of Boston Market's ham meals delivered straight to your door, it's not too late for store pick-up. Choose between Easter Heat Serve (chilled complete meals or á la carte sides) or Easter Catering (hot meals for groups of five or more), and pick up your meal at a local Boston Market from April 10 to April 12.
It is our hope that measures being taken nationally and on state and local levels will allow ample time for the brave medical and municipal support teams to slow the spread of the virus and that we all return to happy, healthy lives very soon.
Wishing you a safe & healthy holiday!
